In 1911, Alexandre Benois created a completely painted set for Giselle for the Opéra de Paris: four thousand square metres of curtain, ceilings and canvas backdrops
All that remains are two models and some original sketches.
In 1997, we created a new set for Giselle in our workshop, reworking Benois’ original idea.
